Anna Malm Bernsten and Arne Aarnes Elected as New Board Members

(Oslo, November 11, 2010) Birdstep Technology, a

leading provider of wireless connectivity software,

today announced the election of Arne Aarnes and Anna

Malm Bernsten to Birdstep's Board of Directors.

Mr. Aarnes is an investor in Birdstep with a current

holding of 1 672 200 shares. Mr. Aarnes has

experience from the telecom industry and has been

Managing Director and Chairman for Nextit Solutions

(2006-2007), Managing Director of Briiz Gruppen (2004-

2006) and Managing Director of Iqtele (2003-2004).

Currently he is leading a venture project in the

grocery industry.

Anna Malm Bernsten brings more than 25 years of

international marketing and sales experience. She has

held leading management positions in large global

companies (Pharmacia, ASSA ABLOY and Baxter) as well

as smaller innovative companies (Carmeda, Medivir and

Aerocrine). Her latest position was as Chief Marketing

Officer at GE Healthcare Life Sciences. Presently she

runs her own consultancy company focusing on strategic

marketing, business development, communication and

branding. Her current board positions include

Artimplant AB, Biophausia AB, Cellvision AB, AB

Fagerhult, Medivir AB and Nolato AB, which are all

listed on the OMX Nasdaq Stockholm.
