Birdstep Technology ASA - Changes to Management Team and Board

Chief Financial Officer Alex Gundersen has given

notice that he is resigning from his position.

-In our continued efforts to focus resources on core

growth areas, the executive management group in

Birdstep Technology will now be located in Stockholm.

It's unfortunate that we could not convince Alex to

relocate to Stockholm. He has made an outstanding

contribution to Birdstep and his broad financial

competence and professional conduct will be missed. We

wish him all the best for his continued career,

knowing he will be a great asset to a new employer,

says CEO Torbjörn Sandberg.

As Alex Gundersen has resigned from his position as

Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Mr. Andre V. Demarest

has stepped down from the Board of Directors of

Birdstep Technology and will assume the role of CFO on

an interim basis with effect from today, 7 September.

Mr. Demarest resigned his position as a board member

on 6 September and also waived his rights to earning

an accrued board fee up to such date.

-Andre has an outstanding track record within finance,

corporate development and strategy, and Birdstep is

very fortunate to be able to so quickly fill the CFO

position with such a seasoned executive. This will

enable me even further to focus on driving strategic

growth initiatives, says CEO Torbjörn Sandberg.

Mr. Gundersen will remain in an advisory role from

Oslo during the remaining months of 2010 to secure and

manage the handover process to Mr. Demarest, who will

also manage the process of identifying a successor for

the CFO role.
