DISCLOSURE OF A CHANGE IN HOLDINGS UNDER SECTION 9 OF CHAPTER 2 OF THE
SECURITIES MARKETS ACT

According to information received, the proportion of Technopolis Plc's share
capital and votes directly held by City of Oulu (commercial register number
0187690-1), Oulu, Finland, will decrease under one twentieth (5 %).

The proportion of Technopolis Plc's share capital and votes controlled directly
by City of Oulu is on or about 21 May, 2010 3,062,925 shares and 4.86 %
respectively.

As a result of the share issue informed 19 May, 2010 by stock exchange release,
the number of the Company's shares shall increase to 63,045,341 shares while
the share capital remains unchanged at EUR 96,913,626.29.
