Technology One Announces New Board Member

Technology One is pleased to announce the appointment of Rick Anstey to its Board of Management.

Chairman Adrian Di Marco said Mr Anstey brings to the company a wealth of experience in the Information Technology and Telecommunications Industry.

"Mr Anstey has over 30 years experience in the Information Technology and Telecommunications industry and in associated investment banking roles." Mr Di Marco said.

"He has built and managed a number of his own companies, including the Tangent Group, and several subsidiary companies both in Australia and overseas," he said.

"Mr Anstey is also the co-founder of InQbator, a Queensland based investment group which provides all facets of venture capital investment and corporate advisory with early stage technology companies, and manages a portfolio of more than 20 companies located across Australia

"Through this organisation, he is well connected with start-up companies, which will provide Technology One with a valuable insight into emerging technology trends and potentially identify complimentary innovation at an early stage.

"We believe Mr Anstey will be a strong asset to the Board as the company embarks on the next stage of its growth, including international expansion to the UK and beyond."

Mr Anstey started the Corby Group in 1994 as a venture catalyst that provided corporate advisory roles to Australian and international technology companies, working closely with Federal, State and Local Government's in Australia to attract investment into Australia's technology sector with a specific target of Queensland.

He holds a number of current non-executive directorships and advisory roles, including Eden Technology Pty Ltd (defence and law enforcement security software systems), Brothers Neilsen Pty Ltd (surf wear), and Pioneer Mortgages (non-banking financial services).

He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, and a member of the Australian Venture Capital Association. He is also a past member of the Queensland Government's Communication and Information Advisory Board, which advised the Government's Minister of Innovation and Information Economy,
