Director Declaration

Following the announcement on 24 June 2014 regarding the appointment of Nick Hampton as Chief Financial Officer and a Director of Tate & Lyle PLC with effect from 1 September 2014, the information below is given in accordance with paragraph 9.6.13 of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Listing Rules.

i) Mr Hampton was previously a director of Wimm-Bill-Dann Foods OJSC, which was listed in New York and Moscow for part of his tenure as a director. He holds no directorship in any other publicly quoted company and has not done so in the past five years.

ii) There are no further disclosures to be made pursuant to paragraph 9.6.13 of the Financial Conduct Authority’s Listing Rules.
