Disclosure under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015

In continuation to our Press Release and Pursuant to Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (‘Listing Regulations’), we wish to inform that NHPC Limited (has been nominated as a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) Implementing Agency (BIA) by Ministry of Power), through an International Bidding process, has selected Tata Power Renewable Energy Limited (TPREL), a subsidiary of the Company, for setting up BESS of capacity 30MW/120MWhr to be utilized by Kerala State Electricity Board Limited (KSEBL) for optimizing their excess energy by storing it in the said storage asset. The said BESS asset shall be established at the Area code Substation of KSEBL located in Mulleria, District Kasaragod, Kerala.

This is an update and additional details pursuant to SEBI Circular No. SEBI/HO/CFD/PoD2/CIR/P/0155 dated November 11, 2024 (‘SEBI Circular’) are as follows-

3.	Whether order(s) / contract(s) have been awarded by domestic/ international entity;	Domestic Entity
4.	Nature of order(s) / contract(s);	Long term Lease Contract for making available the Battery Asset on per month basis and to be utilized by KSEBL for storing their excess energy.

6.	Time period by which the order(s)/contract(s) is to be executed;	Project execution period shall be 15 months from date of signing of PPA & the operation period shall be 12 years after commissioning.
