AUSTRALIAN STOCK EXCHANGE ANNOUCEMENT

EDEN ENERGY LTD - IPO

The directors of Eden Energy Limited have closed the offer under the prospectus dated $29^th$ of March 2006 and have accepted applications for approximately \$8.2 million worth of shares pursuant to that prospectus. The minimum subscription required to be raised under the prospectus was \$7 million.

The offer, which was originally planned to have been open until 26 May 2006, has been closed early to enable Eden to accelerate progress on its various projects.

It is anticipated that the shares and options in Eden Energy Limited (ASX Code: EDE) will be quoted on the ASX within the next 2-3 weeks.
