Epithermal Gold – Silver Deposits

Some Examples: Contained Gold: Pajingo (Nth Queensland) 3 Moz El Penon (Chile) 2.5 Moz Lihir (PNG) 40 Moz Hishikari (Japan) 8.5 Moz Chatree (Thailand) 4.8 Moz

Parkinson Dam – Regional Targeting

- Hiltaba Age mineralisation rims margins of GRV “plate” Cu-Au-Ag (U, REE) occurs on N and NE margins Au-Ag (Pb-Zn) occurs on S (& W margins) Limited cover on S margin

Parkinson Dam - Previous Calcrete Sampling

Parkinson Dam - Historical

Mid-2005: Outcropping epithermal gold/silver discovered by Tasman following up (PIRSA compiled) calcrete data

Late-2005 and 2006: Drilling (PACE in 2005) locates multiple low grade gold-silver-lead-zinc zones. E.g. – 7.6% Pb, 10.5% Zn, 0.4% Cu, 1.20g/t Au, 120g/t Ag over 1.66m

– 3.4g/t Au, 80g/t Ag over 3m

Mid-2007: High grade gold and silver (21g/t Au, 83g/t Ag) over 21m in PD 63 (inc. 9m at 31g/t Au, 152g/t Ag)

Parkinson Dam Cut and polished samples showing layered, colloform-crustiform quartz veining

Parkinson Dam – Mineralisation/Alteration

Parkinson Dam – Mineralisation/Alteration

Parkinson Dam – Mineralisation/Alteration

PD 63: 21m @ 21g/t Au, 83g/t Ag (inc 9m @ 31g/t Au, 152 g/t Ag)

Distinctive late-stage epithermal veining:

– Quartz & haematite

– Apatite, chlorite, muscovite (vanadiferous phengite) – Lead, zinc & copper poor

Gold (electrum, ~ 35% Ag)

Lake Torrens IOCGU Potential

Lake Torrens IOCGU Targets

100% of 2,959km[2] of tenements adjacent to Olympic Dam (Cu-Au-U-REE) IOCGU mineralisation at Titan (inc 334m @ 0.1% Cu)

Hematitic OD-age breccias at Marathon South Untested targets at Vulcan, Zeus, Billy Barnes, Atlas, Parakylia WCP to earn 65% after expenditure of $6.5M over 5 years.

Mirrica Project, Queensland

February 2007 Aeromagnetic Survey

• Poorly explored Proterozoic basement - shallow cover

  • 200km SW of Mt Isa

• Strong Au & base metal anomalism in prior sampling
