Tarkett optimizes its financing sources with a €300 million private placement
Paris - La Défense, April 20th, 2017
Tarkett, a worldwide leader in innovative and sustainable solutions for flooring and sports surfaces, is pleased to announce the successful issuance of a Schuldschein (German-law private placement) of €300 million.
This financing includes tranches with maturities of 5 and 7 years and provides a mix of fixed and variable rates.
This Schuldschein was initially launched for an amount of €150 million and was then increased to €300 million, thanks to a very high demand. It was subscribed by a large variety of banks and institutional investors from Europe and Asia.
This transaction allows Tarkett to strengthen its financial structure by extending the average maturity of its credit facilities, while benefiting from a favourable interest rate environment. The funds will be used primarily to refinance an existing loan.
