Tarkett – Cooptation of Guylaine Saucier as Member of the Supervisory Board, following the resignation of Sonia Bonnet-Bernard
Paris (France) – July 30, 2015
At its meeting held on 29th of July 2015, the Supervisory Board of Tarkett duly noted the resignation of Sonia Bonnet-Bernard, due to professional reasons. Upon proposal of the Nomination and Compensation Committee, the Supervisory Board has coopted Ms. Guylaine Saucier as an independent member. Guylaine Saucier was also appointed Member and President of the Audit Committee.
This cooptation will be submitted to the ratification of the General Shareholders Meeting, to be held on April 26, 2016. The tenure of Guylaine Saucier will expire at the next General Shareholders Meeting to be held in 2017, called to approve the financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2016.
Guylaine Saucier, a Canadian citizen, has graduated from the "Ecole des hautes études commerciales" of Montreal and a "Fellow" of the Order of Certified Public Accountants of Quebec. She has been for 14 years Chairman and CEO of Gérard Saucier Ltée, a group specialized in forestry products. She is also a certified Director of the Institute of Corporate Directors. Ms. Saucier has held positions on the Boards of Directors of several major companies from Canada and France (Bank of Montreal, Pétro Canada, Axa Assurances Inc., Danone and Areva…). Ms. Saucier has been President of the Quebec Chamber of Commerce.
Since 2010, she has been a Member of the Supervisory Board, President of the Audit Committee and a Member of the Governance Committee of Wendel.
Didier Deconinck, President of the Supervisory Board of Tarkett, and all of its members, would like to thank Ms. Sonia Bonnet-Bernard for her active contribution to the work of the Board and the Audit Committee, and look forward to welcoming Ms. Saucier at the Supervisory Board of Tarkett.
