Corentin Daras appointed Chief Sales Officer at Jamendo to speed up division's business development
AudioValley, an international specialist in BtoB digital audio solutions (ISIN Code: BE0974334667/Ticker: ALAVY) is pleased to announce the appointment of Corentin Daras as Chief Sales Officer of its music rights management and license marketing platform Jamendo.
With a catalogue of more than 650,000 tracks and its status as an Independent Management Entity (IME), Jamendo has all the qualities needed to speed up its expansion in the music rights management and monetization sector. With a view to achieving this goal, the division appointed a new General Manager, Jocelyn Seilles, in early 2019, and Corentin Daras with effect from 17 February 2020. Jamendo's structural efforts are consistent with its strategic expansion drive, aimed at bolstering its position in the flourishing music license market.
Corentin has a Master's Degree in Computer Science and Management from Paris Dauphine University. He started out his career in online recruitment at job search start-up Lesjeudis.com in 2006, and was soon given responsibility for the business development of several websites. He was appointed Chief Sales Officer of the company when it was taken over by US market leader CareerBuilder. Corentin subsequently pursued a career in the media sector, joining Getty Images in 2014. As Senior Sales Manager, he contributed to the substantial growth in the US Group's Parisian arm.
