Tanger Marital Trust was the general partner and thus deemed to be the beneficial owner of such partnership's holdings, was dissolved in connection with the settling of the estate of Stanley K. Tanger, founder of Tanger Factory Outlet Centers, Inc. The common shares were distributed pro rata to the individual beneficial owners of the Tanger Family Limited Partnership and thus the Stanley K. Tanger Marital Trust is no longer deemed to be the beneficial owner of such shares.
