Item 8.01 Other Events

On September 3, 2013, the Company issued a press release announcing that it had acquired, as of August 30, 2013, an additional one-third interest in the Tanger Outlets located in Deer Park, New York, and that it had completed a successful refinancing of the existing mortgage and mezzanine loans on the property.

A copy of this press release is attached to this current report as Exhibit 99.1.
