AS TALLINK GRUPP - COMPANY ANNOUNCEMENT 03.04.2018

AS TALLINK GRUPP STATISTICS FOR MARCH 2018 AND THE FIRST QUARTER OF THE 2018 FINANCIAL YEAR

In March 2018 AS Tallink Grupp transported 715 786 passengers, which is a 1.2% decrease compared to March 2017. The number of cargo units decreased by 0.3% to 31 879 units and the number of passenger vehicles increased by 1.4% to 80 768 units in the same comparison.

In the first quarter of the 2018 financial year (January – March) AS Tallink Grupp transported 1 930 449 passengers which is 0.5% less compared to the previous year. The number of transported cargo units increased by 8.2% to 90 687 units and the number of passenger vehicles increased by 2.3% to 222 370 units in same comparison.

AS Tallink Grupp passenger, cargo unit and passenger vehicles numbers for March 2018 and the first quarter of the financial year were the following:

The following operational factors influenced the development in March and in the first quarter of 2018:

FINLAND – SWEDEN

Cruise ferry Baltic Princess did not operate on the route for 68 days in the first quarter due to maintenance and repair works.
