CHANGE IN DIRECTOR SHARE HOLDING

The Company lodged an Appendix 3Y on 5 February 2008 indicating a change in the shareholding of the Managing Director, Mr. Steven Elliott.

We would like to clarify that the 100,000 shares disposed of by Mr. Elliott represented the final tranche of shares making up the overall off market transfer of 3,000,000 shares to Tyche Holdings Pty Ltd (a company controlled by Mr Kerry Harmanis) and associates. This transaction had been formally disclosed to the market in an announcement made on 14 December 2007.

Mr Elliott has not since sold any shares in Talisman Mining Limited other than those disclosed above.
