Talenom begins to repurchase its own shares

Based on an authorization granted by the Annual General Meeting on 26 February 2019, Talenom Plc Board of Directors has decided to begin to repurchase the Company’s own shares.

Talenom will acquire a maximum of 20,000 of its own shares (a maximum of 0.29 % of all shares). Currently, the Company holds a total of 5,100 own shares (0.07 % of all shares and votes).

The repurchase of the own shares will begin on 22 August 2019 at the earliest and will end on 31 December 2019 at the latest. The shares will be acquired at the market price quoted at the time of the repurchase in public trading on Nasdaq Helsinki Ltd. The own shares may be acquired to be used as part of the Company’s incentive scheme, to be used as payment in corporate acquisitions or otherwise passed forward, to be held with the Company or to be cancelled.

In accordance with the decision by the Annual General Meeting of 2019, the Board of Directors of Talenom Plc is authorised to decide on the repurchase of a maximum of 50,000 of its own shares with the Company’s unrestricted equity.

Under the authorisation, the Board of Directors will decide on all the other terms and conditions related to the repurchase of the own shares and the Company’s own shares may be acquired in a proportion other than that of current shareholder holdings. The authorisation is in force for 18 months from the decision of the Annual General Meeting.
