PROFIT WARNING

This announcement is made by Tailam Tech Construction Holdings Limited (the “ Company ”, together with its subsidiaries, the “ Group ”) pursuant to Rule 13.09 of the Rules Governing the Listing of Securities on The Stock Exchange of Hong Kong Limited (the “ Listing Rules ”) and the Inside Information Provisions under Part XIVA of the Securities and Futures Ordinance (Chapter 571 of the Laws of Hong Kong).

The Board of Directors (the “ Board ”) of the Company wishes to inform the shareholders (the “ Shareholders ”) and potential investors of the Company that based on the information currently available to the Board and its preliminary review and assessment of the Group’s latest unaudited consolidated management accounts for the six months ended 30 June 2020 (the “ Management Accounts ”), the unaudited consolidated profit attributable to the owners of the Company is expected to record a consolidated profit of approximately RMB7.2 million for the six months ended 30 June 2020 as compared to approximately RMB16.2 million for the corresponding period in 2019. The Board was of the view that due to COVID-19 which has adverse impact on the global economy, the Group’s production was adversely affected in the first quarter of 2020, and was substantially resumed only in the second quarter of 2020. This resulted in a significant decrease in the production and sales volume of the Group during the six months ended 30 June 2020. Nevertheless, the overall financial and business positions of the Group remain healthy.

The Company is still in the process of finalising its interim results of the Group for the six months ended 30 June 2020. The information contained in this announcement is only a preliminary assessment by the Board based on the Management Accounts and the latest information currently available, which have not been reviewed by the auditor or the audit committee of the Company. Actual financial results for the six months ended 30 June 2020 may be different from what is disclosed in this announcement. Shareholders and potential investors of the Company are advised to read carefully the announcement to be published by the Company in relation to the interim results of the Group. The Company expects to announce its unaudited interim results for the six months ended 30 June 2020 by the end of August 2020.
