Januar 2001 Die syzygy AG (SYZ), pan-europäischer Dienstleister für eBusiness- Lösungen, erweitert die Kundenbeziehung mit DaimlerChrysler durch Abschluß eines Projektauftrags mit einem Volumen von über Euro 1 Mio. Zur Einführung des Mercedes-Benz Compact Vans “Vaneo” ist die syzygy AG mit der Konzeption und den Dienstleistungen für die Umsetzung der Internetaktivitäten rund um das neue Fahrzeug beauftragt. Das besondere hierbei ist die Realisation für 10 europäische Länder. Ein europäisches syzygy-Team setzt die zeitgleiche Verfügbarkeit von Internetinhalten und Internetanwen- dungen in mehreren Sprachen um. Die Inhalte basieren hierbei auf einer Content Management Infrastruktur. Der Start des Internetauftritts des Vaneo wird voraussichtlich zum Genfer Autosalon im März erfolgen. Die Projektdauer beträgt rund ein Jahr und wird in mehreren Stufen vollzogen. Die Umsätze hieraus wird syzygy größtenteils im laufenden Geschäftsjahr realisieren und sind überwiegend Bestandteil der Unternehmens- planung. Mit der Durchführung von mehreren Projekten für DaimlerChrysler bestätigt syzygy seine führende europäische Positionierung als Dienstleister für Unternehmen der Automobilindustrie. Weitere Kunden dieser Branche sind Alfa Romeo, Continental, FIAT, Lancia, Mazda Motors Europe und Siemens VDO. syzygy konzentriert sich neben der Automobilindustrie auf die Branchen “Finanzdienstleistung”, “Handel” und “Telekommunikation”. In den ersten neun Monaten des Geschäftsjahres 2000 erwirtschaftete das Unternehmen einen Umsatz von Euro 13,2 Mio. Im abgelaufenen Geschäftsjahr wird syzygy einen Umsatz von ca. Euro 18 Mio. generieren. Die in das Geschäftsjahr 2000 gesetzten Erwartungen werden vom Unternehmen nach vorläufiger Berechnung erfüllt. One of the special aspects in this respect is the execution of the concept for 10 European countries. A European cross office syzygy team is implementing the simultaneous availability of Internet content and Internet applications in several languages. The content is based on a content management infrastructure. The launch of the Internet site for Vaneo will probably take place in time for the Geneva Autosalon in March. The project duration is around one year and will be conducted in a number of phases. The resulting revenue will mainly be realised by syzygy in the current business year and has, in the main, been included in the corporate planning. By performing a number of projects for DaimlerChrysler, syzygy has confirmed its leading position in Europe as a service provider for companies in the automobile industry. Other clients from this industry are Alfa Romeo, Continental, FIAT, Lancia, Mazda Motors Europe and Siemens VDO. In addition to the automobile industry, syzygy focuses on the “financial services”, “trade” and “telecommunication” sectors. In the first nine months of 2000 the company posted sales of euro 13.2 million. In the past business year syzygy will generate sales of about euro 18 million. The general expectations for the business year 2000 will be fulfilled by the company according to provisional figures.
