Systemair completes acquisition of Menerga GmbH in Germany

Systemair (NASDAQ OMX Stockholm: SYSR) announced on March 28, 2013 an agreement to acquire Menerga GmbH in Germany, a leading European manufacturer of air handling units for swimming pool halls and comfort ventilation with extra high efficiency.

The acquisition has now been approved by the German antitrust authority Bundeskartellamt and was completed on May 2. Menerga was founded in 1981 and has its headquarters and production facilities in Mülheim an der Ruhr, just outside Dusseldorf. Sales in 2012 amounted to EUR 56.7 million of which 53% in Germany. The company currently has approximately 400 employees.
