On January 5, 2009, Kenneth J. Carrig, the Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer of Sysco Corporation (the “Company”), informed the Company that he was resigning from his position effective January 23, 2009. Mr. Carrig has accepted a position as Executive Vice President of Human Resources at another national corporation in an unrelated business.
