Board changes

Synthomer plc ("Synthomer" or "the Company") announces that Jez Maiden stood down from the Board at the end of today's AGM and Caroline Johnstone who was appointed to the Board last month has succeeded Mr Maiden as chair of the Audit Committee and as a member of the Remuneration and Nomination Committees.  Brendan Connolly will take over from Jez Maiden as the Company's Senior Independent Director with immediate effect.

Neil Johnson, Chairman, said:

"On behalf of the Board I would like to thank Jez for his 8 years' chairmanship of the Audit Committee and for serving as our Senior Independent Director for the last 3 years."
