Pharmaxis Limited – Trading Halt

Description

The securities of Pharmaxis Limited (the ‘Company’) will be placed in trading halt at the request of the Company, pending the release of an announcement by the Company. Unless ASX decides otherwise, the securities will remain in trading halt until the earlier of the commencement of normal trading on Tuesday, 7 August 2018 or when the announcement is released to the market.

Request for Trading Halt

Pursuant to ASX Listing Rule 17.1, Pharmaxis Ltd ABN 75 082 811 630 ( Company ) requests a trading halt in its securities (ASX: PXS) from the commencement of trading today, Friday, 3 August 2018.

For the purposes of ASX Listing Rule 17.1, the Company provides the following information:

• the trading halt is requested pending an announcement by the Company to the market in relation to the outcome of a placement of fully paid ordinary shares to institutional and sophisticated investors ( Placement );

• the Company requests that the trading halt remains in place until the earlier of commencement of trading on Tuesday, 7 August 2018 and the time at which the Company makes an announcement regarding the outcome of the Placement; and

• The Company confirms that it is not aware of any reason why the trading halt should not be granted or of any other information necessary to inform the market about the trading halt.
