SYNERGIE ACHIEVES RECORD PERFORMANCE GROWTH: +16.4% IN H1

SYNERGIE has confirmed its excellent start to 2017 with consolidated first-half turnover of €1,097 m, up 16.4 % from 2016. It surpassed the billion euro threshold for the first time during this first half of the year.

After factoring in the number of working days, activity levels improved further in the second quarter.

The Group thus outperformed its markets in several of the countries in which it operates, a trend that has intensified both internationally and in France.

At €542.1 m, the Group's growth outside of France continued at a very strong pace (+20.5 % in H1), particularly in southern Europe (+29.8 % over six months) and the Benelux countries (+13.7 %), with all other geographical areas also registering growth.

In France, H1 turnover reached €554.8 m, +12.5 % in a market that registered growth of 11 % at the end of May, according to data from PRISM'EMPLOI.

At the start of the third quarter, more than 70,000 employees were placed daily with clients, a new record.

These performances result both from investments made (recruitment of consultants, stronger presence in targeted growth sectors, training programmes, etc.) and developments on the markets in which the Group operates.

Thanks to its financial solidity, SYNERGIE is actively studying new acquisitions to speed up its growth, especially internationally, with the objective of achieving turnover of over €2.2 billion over the current financial year, and a net improvement of its profitability.
