SYNERGIE confirmed its excellent start to 2016 with consolidated first-half turnover of €943m, up 10% from 2015 (9% on a like for like basis).

The Group outperformed its markets in several countries in which it operates today thanks to vigorous growth both at an international level and in France, where it achieved +11% over the first six months (in a market that saw growth of 7.5% at the end of May, according to Prisme figures).

The Group continued to record growth in international activity to €450 million (+10.5% over the second quarter compared with +5.8% in the first quarter), with particularly strong increases in southern Europe (+14% over six months) and the Benelux countries (+19%), while also showing growth in other geographical areas.

In France, turnover reached €493 million, confirming the sharp recovery shown since the end of 2015.

The SYNERGIE Group continued to actively pursue development in the third quarter, placing nearly 63.500 FTE employees daily, in line with its historical highs.

This performance attests to the relevance of the strategic choices made by the Group Management Committee and significant efforts taken in fast-growing sectors, such as aerospace, shipbuilding, renewable energies and specialist tertiary businesses, supported by highly innovative offers, including OpenCenters and Global Cross Sourcing.

Thanks to this performance and its financial strength, SYNERGIE is actively studying acquisition opportunities to speed up its growth, principally internationally, with the objective of achieving turnover of €2 billion over the current financial year.
