The SYNERGIE Group's total revenue came to € 945 million in 2009 (-21.3% compared with 2008), with the trend showing a clear improvement in the fourth quarter, when the change was only -5.9% over the period for the consolidated total.

In France

Turnover was € 165 million during the last 3 months, down only 9.2%, showing results clearly higher than the market, which fell 13%.

Assignments that Pôle Emploi allocated to SYNERGIE and its subsidiary EURYDICE PARTNERS, to support 37 500 jobseekers over a period ranging from 24 to 30 months, are progressing at the desired pace.

In Europe and Canada

At the international level, the recovery was noted in all 12 countries where the Group is present, achieving turnover in the fourth quarter of € 91.3 million, an increase compared with 2008 (€ 90.5 million).

It was more marked in Northern Europe, mainly in Belgium and the UK, where the rise has been strong since last November.

The Spanish subsidiary will benefit, as from January 2010, from the merger of its network with that of the recently acquired OLYMPIA, whose 2009 turnover amounted to €35 million. Turnover from the network in Spain should reach € 70 million as early as 2010.

Thus, the share of turnover at the international level in 2010 should account for 40% of that of the Group, a target perfectly in line with the strategy launched 2 years ago to increase it to 50% by the end of 2011.

In view of the buoyant economic situation favouring recourse to temporary staff, placement, outplacement and business engineering, SYNERGIE should benefit from organic growth in 2010, strengthened by external growth operations carried out recently or in the process of negotiation.

The high level of liquidity thus gives the SYNERGIE Group full scope to proceed with new acquisitions.
