PDMR shareholding

Synectics (AIM: SNX), a leader in the design, integration, control and management of advanced surveillance technology and networked security systems, announces that upon the recommendation of the Company's Remuneration Committee, the Group's employee share trust, The Quadnetics No.2 Employees Share Trust (the "Trust"), made a gift of 10,000 Synectics plc ordinary shares of 20p each (the "Shares") to John Katnic (PDMR) on 6 March 2017 for no consideration.  The award of Shares was to recognise the exceptional contribution of Mr Katnic during the year ended 30 November 2016.

Shares held by the Trust were used to satisfy the gift of Shares.

Following the gift of shares, Mr Katnic's total interest in Shares is now as follows:
