Re-appointment of Auditor

The Board of Synectics plc announces its intention to recommend to shareholders, for approval at the 2018 Annual General Meeting, the re-appointment of KPMG LLP as auditor of the Group.

The Company stated its intention to tender external audit services during 2017 in the Group's Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 30 November 2016.  A formal competitive tender process, overseen by the Group's Audit Committee, has been undertaken and the Board's proposal to re-appoint KPMG LLP as the Group's auditor follows a recommendation by the Audit Committee based on the outcome of the tender process.

The Board would like to thank KPMG LLP for their contribution as the Group's auditor, and also the other firms that took part in the tender process.
