Synairgen plc (AIM: SNG) has received notification that, on 15 May 2013, Mr Michael Underwood transferred 500,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the capital of the Company ("Ordinary Shares") to his wife, Mrs P A Underwood for nil consideration.

Following this transfer, Mr Underwood's holding (as defined in the AIM Rules for Companies) in the Company remains unchanged at 3,970,588 Ordinary Shares, representing 5.28% of the Company's total voting rights.
