Dr Thomas Rabe will resign as chairman of the supervisory board on August 7 th 2019, but will remain to be a member of the supervisory board.
Dr Thomas Rabe, chairman of the management board of Bertelsmann Management SE, has decided to resign as chairman of the supervisory board of Symrise AG with effect as of the end of the scheduled supervisory board meeting of August 7 th 2019. He will remain and continue as member of the supervisory board. The supervisory board intends to resolve on the election of a new chairman of the supervisory board on the scheduled meeting of the supervisory board on August 7 th 2019.
The resignation of Dr Thomas Rabe as chairman of the supervisory board is connected to the decision of Adidas to recommend Dr Thomas Rabe to be elected as member of the supervisory board of Adidas in the general meeting of Adidas of May 9 th 2019.
