Standalone Revenue from Operations is ₹ 124 cr. for Q3 20-21 vs. ₹ 207 cr. in Q3 19-20. Standalone PAT is ₹ 35 cr. for Q3 20-21 vs. ₹ 58 cr. in Q3 19-20. The operations of the Company were impacted during the quarter ended December 31, 2020 due to Covid19.

Consolidated Revenue from Operations is down to ₹ 216 cr. in Q3 20-21 from ₹ 290 cr. in Q3 19-20 due to substantial reduction in sales in India and Mexico due to Covid19. Consolidated PAT is ₹ 27 cr. for Q3 20-21 vs. ₹ 51 cr. in Q3 19-20.

Symphony has recommended interim dividend of 50% i.e. ₹ 1/- per equity share of ₹ 2/- each amounting to ₹ 7 crores.

January 22, 2021: Mr. Nrupesh Shah, Executive Director of Symphony Ltd. has commented:

  • ➢ The worldwide outbreak of Covid19 has impacted the business severely since it hit during peak summer. However on quarterly sequentially there has been uptrend demonstrating strong brand and trade confidence.

  • ➢ The Company has succeeded on protecting its gross margin % in India, Impco-Mexico and GSKChina despite steep rise in input cost and challenges of Covid19. This has materialised due to cost rationalisation and launch of new innovative models.
