PRESS RELEASE SYMPHONY LIMITED ANNOUNCE ELEVATION OF MR. NRUPESH SHAH AS MANAGING DIRECTOR – CORPORATE AFFAIRS

As part of the long term strategy, the Company undertakes a structured transformation in role and responsibilities of the directors and senior managerial personnel including succession planning and following to the said strategy, Symphony Limited today announced the elevation and re-designation of Mr. Nrupesh Shah from current position of Executive Director to ‘ Managing Director – Corporate Affairs’ with immediate effect i.e., October 26, 2023.

Mr. Shah was appointed as an Executive Director in the year 2002 and since then he has been serving as an executive director of the Company. He has contributed significantly to growth, financial performance, acquisitions and varied corporate matters. He played a very important and crucial role in turnaround of the Company. He brought established and makeshift transparency in financial, accounting and governance practices of the Company to boost the confidence of the lenders, investors and other stakeholders in the Company.

Mr. Shah is a Chartered Accountant (CA), Company Secretary (CS) and holds bachelor’s degree in commerce with exceptionally bright academic career and has more than 35 years of experience including 30 years of experience in the Symphony.

The Chairman and Managing Director Mr. Achal Bakeri said that “I am delighted that Mr. Nrupesh Shah has been elevated as ‘Managing Director – Corporate Affairs’ of the Company. In the last three decades, he has been managing the corporate affairs of the company consisting of Strategy, Growth, Performance, Finance, Accounts, Secretarial, Legal, Taxation, Treasury Management, Information Technology and various other functions of the Company. His skills as a business leader, strategic expertise and overall understanding of the consumer durable industries, he is an excellent fit for the position of Managing Director – Corporate Affairs.”
