Director/PDMR Shareholdings - Option amendments

Symphony Environmental Technologies Plc (AIM: SYM), global specialists in products and technologies that "make plastic and rubber products smarter, safer and more sustainable", announces a limited extension to the exercise period of options held by the directors of the Company (the "Directors") and certain other option holders.

The Company had previously granted options to purchase 12,691,500 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company (the "Options") of which 10,941,500 were to certain directors of the Company. The Options were due to expire on 31 December 2022 and 6 April 2023 but have been extended for practical reasons to 31 December 2023 ("Option Extension").

The extension of the Options granted to Directors is considered a related party transaction pursuant to the AIM rules for companies. Accordingly, the Directors consider, having consulted with the Company's nominated adviser, that the Option Extension is fair and reasonable insofar as the Company's shareholders are concerned.
