Sydbank’s Board of Directors

At the Shareholders’ Committee meeting which took place after the AGM, the Shareholders’ Committee elected John Lesbo, 63, State Authorised Public Accountant, new member of the Board of Directors.

As a result of the election of John Lesbo, the Board of Directors consists of eight members elected by the Shareholders’ Committee and three members elected by the Bank’s employees.

John Lesbo was a partner of the audit firm Ernst & Young until the end of February 2017 and he has experience in board work.

At the subsequent board meeting, the Board of Directors elected Torben Nielsen, former Central Bank Governor, as its C/chairman and Peder Damgaard, General Manager, as its v/Vice-c/Chairman.
