Jon Lidefelt appointed new Chief Financial Officer at Swedbank

Jon Lidefelt has been appointed as the new CFO. He is today working as the head

of the business area Baltic banking and is already a member of the Group

Executive Committee.

- Jon has experience from many different parts of the bank and a good

understanding of our business. I look forward to continuing our good cooperation

in his new role," says Jens Henriksson, CEO and President of Swedbank.

Jon Lidefelt has a Master of Science in Engineering Physics, with a Major in

Financial Mathematics from the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm. He

has worked at the bank since 2013.

- I have had a fantastic experience in my current role. Now I look forward to

this opportunity to continue our path towards Swedbank 15/25 and ensure a long

-term return on equity of at least 15%, says Jon Lidefelt.

He will assume his new role on November 1, 2024, replacing Anders Karlsson who

will become head of Swedbank's operations in the USA starting next year.

Olof Sundblad has been appointed acting head of Baltic Banking. Today he is the

CFO of the operations in the Baltics. He thereby becomes a member of the Group

Executive Committee. The work to find a permanent head for Baltic Banking now

begins.
