EXPLANATORY NOTE

Suzano is amending its report on Form 6-K furnished to the Securities and Exchange Commission on August 11, 2021 (File/Film Number: 001-38755 / 211164425) (the “Original 6-K”) solely for the purpose of replacing Exhibit 99.1, which contains our Unaudited condensed consolidated interim financial information as of June 30, 2021, and adding Exhibit 101, which contains Interactive Data File disclosure in accordance with Rule 405 of Regulation S-T. Except as described above, this amendment does not amend any information set forth in the Original 6-K.

This report and exhibits shall be deemed to be incorporated by reference in our registration statements on Form F-3 filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on September 18, 2020 (File No. 333-248909), and shall be deemed to be a part thereof from the date on which this report is furnished to the SEC, to the extent not superseded by documents or reports subsequently filed or furnished.
