SUSS MicroTec AG: Expected Q3 Order Entry of EUR 55 Million Well Above
Forecasts

Garching near Munich, Germany, September 13, 2010 - SUSS MicroTec AG
(business address: Schleissheimer Strasse 90, 85748 Garching, Germany;
ISIN: DE0007226706), which is listed in the Prime Standard of Deutsche
Börse AG, today announced that order entry for the third quarter of 2010 is
expected to total about EUR 55 million. As of mid-2010, the Company had
still been anticipating order entry of slightly more than EUR 40 million
for the third quarter. The strong demand for equipment is primarily the
result of Asian production customers increasing their capacity. This demand
is making itself felt across all market segments and product lines of the
Company. For the fourth quarter of the year, the Company is forecasting
order entry of approximately EUR 35 million. Order entry for the full year
2010 will thus total over EUR 170 million, as compared with EUR 96.3
million in 2009.

For the year as a whole, the Company continues to anticipate sales of
approximately EUR 140 million as well as positive earnings before interest
and taxes (EBIT) and a positive free cash flow.
