The sender is solely responsible for the contents of this announcement. ——————————————————————————– Süss MicroTec AG: Earning 2000 expectations will be beaten significantly Munich, March 01, 2001 – According to preliminary unaudited results of the local operations of the Süss group for 2001, the management expects a double digit after tax earning result in Euros. This result will be significantly higher than the latest market expectations. These numbers are the result of higher revenues and the accordingly improved economy of scale. In addition favourable currency exchange effects supported higher earnings. Especially the fact, that the negative impact of the new US- GAAP regulations concerning sales recognition, the SAB 101, is already incorporated, makes this result very remarkable.
