New distribution agreement via Elemental Healthcare

Surgical Innovations Group plc (AIM: SUN), the designer and manufacturer of innovative technology for minimally invasive surgery, announces that its fully owned subsidiary, Elemental Healthcare has signed a three year distribution agreement with Bariatric Solutions GmbH ('Bariatric Solutions'), a Swiss company specialising in innovative medical devices for the surgical treatment of obesity. Elemental Healthcare will distribute Bariatric Solutions' products directly into the UK market.

Adam Power, Group Development Director of Surgical Innovations, says: "Obesity is an increasing problem in the United Kingdom and surgery is an effective way to control the health issues related to it. The new products from Bariatric Solutions enable better results for a longer duration which fit perfectly with the aims of the NHS."
