Directorate Changes

Surgical Innovations announces that on 14 October 2015 Chris Rea resigned from his position as Interim Managing Director and his appointment as Non-Executive Director, which will both take immediate effect.

In addition, Melanie Ross, Finance Director, has today given the Company notice of her resignation, which will take effect on 15 April 2016.  In the meantime and until a suitable replacement is found, Ms. Ross will remain on the Board as Interim Managing Director with the support of the Chairman.

Over the next six months, the Company will be seeking to make appointments to the Board.

Doug Liversidge, Chairman, commented:

"Chris has been instrumental in stabilising the Company through a difficult period.  In particular he has made a substantial contribution to product development.  He has worked tirelessly in the best interests of the Company alongside his other commitments and we acknowledge the pressures and frustrations that he has experienced over recent months which have led to this decision.  Melanie has also made, and will continue to make, a valuable contribution to the stabilisation of the Company."
