("Surface Transforms" or the "Company")

Grant of Options

Surface Transforms (AIM:SCE) announces that on 30 September 2015 it has granted options over a total of 1,630,000 new ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") (the "Options") to certain directors and several employees of the Company.

The Options are exercisable at a price of 14.5p per share and vest after a period of 3 years.  The Options expire on the tenth anniversary of the date of grant.

Of the total Options granted, Kevin Johnson, CEO of the Company, was granted 600,000 Options.  Following the grant of these new Options, Kevin Johnson holds a total of 2,144,707 options over Ordinary Shares and 124,000 Ordinary Shares representing 4.03% per cent and 0.2 per cent respectively of the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue. 

The total number of options now outstanding over Ordinary Shares is 4,931,122 representing 9.27% per cent of the total number of Ordinary Shares in issue.
