Surface Transforms plc (AIM: SCE) announces that the Company was notified on 9 May 2018 that Group 14 Ltd (a company controlled by Richard Gledhill, a non executive director at Surface Transforms) sold 1,800,000 ordinary shares of 1p each in the Company ("Ordinary Shares") through a Bed and ISA arrangement to Richard Gledhill and his wife Lorraine Gledhill.

Specifically, on 9 May 2018, Group 14 Ltd sold a total of 1,800,000 Ordinary Shares at a price of 16.23p per Ordinary Share and on 9 May 2018 950,000 Ordinary Shares were repurchased by Richard Gledhill at 16.25p and 850,000 Ordinary Shares were repurchased at a price of 16.25p per Ordinary Share by his wife Lorraine Gledhill.

Following the above transactions, Mr. Gledhill remains beneficially interested in 13,431,755 Ordinary Shares which equates to approximately 11.78 per cent. of the Company's total issued share capital.
