Tenements now cover over 210 sq km of prospective ground

Surefire Resources NL (ASX: SRN and SRNOB, “ Surefire ” or “ the Company ”) is pleased to announce the commencement of its maiden RC drilling programme on gold targets at Victory Bore and an increase in its tenement holding in the area.

Located approximately 60km west of Mount Magnet, Western Australia (Figure 1), the Company’s tenements now consist of E57/1068 and E57/1036 and new pending licences of E57/1139 and E57/1112.

Licences E57/1068 and E57/1036 cover a contiguous 25km strike length of extensive greenstones that lie between the historic gold mining centres of Sandstone (>2Moz Au) and Youanmi (>1Moz Au). These have been complemented with the addition of two new licence applications providing the company with an additional 120 sq km of nearby and adjacent ground, bringing the total tenement area to approximately 210sq km.

The Company’s planned RC drill programme comprising 30 holes for approximately 3,000m is now underway with an expected completion of the programme during September.
