DURMINSKOE GOLD AND SILVER PROJECT, KHABAROVSK, FAR EAST RUSSIA

The Company is pleased to advise that a Heads of Agreement has been entered into with the vendors to carry out a due diligence on the Durminskoe gold and silver project located in Kharbarovski Krai in Far East Russia.

The project has had substantial exploration and ‘technical’ assessment carried out to date, and environmental, hydrological and financial studies completed. The company will review all data and assess the current exploration target estimate of 3.9-3.0 Mt @ 2.4-2.9g/t Au for 300,000 to 340,000 oz of gold*. During the due diligence period, other areas and known zones of gold mineralisation within the proximity will be assessed.

Systematic exploration in the area started in 1950’s. The area was completely covered by geological and airborne magnetic surveys on 1:200 000 to 1: 50,000 scale. Soil geochemical survey performed on the 100 x 20m grid in 1978-1982 resulted in delineating several gold and silver soil anomalies including the Durminskoe prospect area. Further exploration at Durminskoe prospect in 1982-1985 included diamond drilling and surface trenching. Ore bodies up to 220m long were delineated. The recent exploration in 2008-2009 included 49 diamond drill holes for 9,190m and 30 surface trenches for a total of 2,250m in the prospect area.

The Durmin auriferous field is situated in the West Sikhote-Alin volcanic zone. A significant part of the gold and silver mineralisation in the region is related to the volcanogenic hydrothermal mineralisation type of the gold-silver-audularia-quartz subtype. This mineralisation mainly occurs as a series of steeply dipping quartz veins and stockwork zones. All ore bodies are localised within three ore zones, namely the Northern, Western and Eastern Zone. The mineralised zone extends for 310m along the strike ranging in width from 35-130m and dipping down to 65-210m.

The area is located within the Khabarovsk region in the far eastern federal district which is one of Russia’s largest administrative regions and historically the most important mining region in the Russian Far East. Vast and complex fields exist containing mineable gold, tin, copper, silver, tungsten, bismuth and indium.

As one of the most dynamically developing regions in Russia, infrastructure is advanced. Two major highways connect key industrial centres within the region, whilst several air routes facilitate links with

other Asian countries, Europe and the Americas. The region’s seaports are experiencing rapid development with Vanino now a major sea port able to process 10 million tonnes of cargo annually.

A modern telecommunications network is operational and mobile phone services are provided by major Russian Telecom providers.

The region falls within the Khabarovsk legislative territory which passed laws in 2000 that provides for the protection of investor rights, governmental support and tax privileges for investors.

The Company believes that apart from this project, the resources and mineralisation of the area give the Company the opportunity to be a forerunner in the exploration for and extraction of other commodities in this rich mineral area. This would be done in conjunction with local parties with whom the Company is strengthening relationships.

*The exploration target range reported is conceptual in nature. There has been insufficient exploration completed to date, so the data will need to be assessed to determine whether it is sufficient to define a JORC Mineral Resource and it remains uncertain if further exploration will result in the determination of a Mineral Resource.

The information in this report that relates to Exploration Results and the Exploration Target Potential is based on information compiled by Mr Nik Sergeev of CSA Global who is an independent consultant to the company. Mr Sergeev is a Member of the Australian Institute of Geoscientists and has sufficient experience, which is relevant to the style of mineralisation and type of deposit under consideration, and to the activity he is undertaking, to qualify as a Competent Person in terms of the ‘Australasian Code for Reporting of Exploration Results, Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves (JORC Code 2004 Edition). Mr Sergeev consents to the inclusion of such information in this Report in the form and context in which it appears.
