ENSI-MED TRANSACTION - DUE DILIGENCE UPDATE

Further to the Company's announcement of the $17th$ November 2003 we write to provide the market with a brief update as to the status of the proposed transaction between GBL and ENSI-MED Manufacturing Pty Ltd.

To date the Company has completed initial due diligence in relation to ENSI-MED's operations, patent portfolio, regulatory status, corporate and financial structure.

The Company wishes to advise that it will not have completed its full due diligence process within the originally anticipated timetable, and therefore will not be in a position to have completed other transaction specific documents such as the Prospectus and Notice of Meeting.

With the ensuing Christmas and New Year period upon us the Company does not expect to have its due diligence process completed, along with other material conditions precedent contained within the Heads of Agreement satisfied or resolved until early into the New Year.

In the meantime the Company will continue to work with the principals of ENSI-MED in working through other aspects of the transaction including further development of the proposed business plan.
