APPOINTMENT OF CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER RESIGNATION OF MANAGING DIRECTOR
Surefire Resources NL ( ASX:SRN ) ( Surefire or the Company ) is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Andrew Whitehead as Chief Executive Officer ( CEO ), effective as of today.
Dr Whitehead is a mining executive with more than 15 years’ experience across ASXlisted and private resource companies, spanning iron ore, gold and critical minerals. He has held executive leadership roles with responsibility for commercial strategy, governance, joint ventures, capital management support and stakeholder engagement across large-scale resource development projects.
He holds a PhD in International Business from Flinders University and a Graduate Certificate in Applied Finance & Investment, and has completed the Company Directors Course with the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
In accordance with ASX Listing Rules, Surefire advises that the key terms of his remuneration are as follows:

Total fixed remuneration of $300,000 per annum (plus statutory superannuation entitlements);

The employment agreement contains standard terms and conditions for arrangements of this nature, including confidentiality, and retention of intellectual property;
The Company also advises that Mr Paul Burton has tendered his resignation as Managing Director, effective as from Friday, 20 February. The Company wishes him well in his future endeavours.
