Surefire Resources NL (“Surefire”, or “the Company” ) ( ASX:SRN ), is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr John Wareing as non-Executive Chairman and Mr David Sumich as Managing Director to its board, effective immediately.
Mr Sumich is a mining industry professional of over 20 years and has held the role of Managing Director with previous successful ASX companies Volta Mining Limited, DMC Mining Limited & Globe Metals and Mining.
Mr Wareing is currently Managing Director with Argonaut Consulting Group and he has extensive experience in the acquisition, development and financing of mining projects in Australia and internationally.
The new Board appointments will replace Mr Don Valentino and Mr Graeme Smith who are stepping down. The Company thanks them for their service to the company.
Mr Brett Clark will remain on the Board of Surefire as non-Executive Director and is a Managing Partner of Doonbeg Group, Inc a New York / London Investment / Merchant Bank and has extensive experience in the capital markets and resources industry.
