RESIGNATION OF DIRECTOR & NEW CHAIRMAN APPOINTMENT

Black Ridge Mining NL (Black Ridge or the Company) wishes to advise that long serving Chairman, Mr Malcolm Carson has resigned from the Board.

Mr Peter Elliott has been appointed by the Board to replace Mr Carson.

Peter Elliott is an admitted Barrister and Solicitor from New Zealand who has been legal counsel for a division of Trafalgar House based in the United Kingdom and subsequently the USA Director and Company Secretary of Lakeland Properties Limited, a listed company in New Zealand and in more recent years has specialized in corporate administration.

Chief Executive of a large Corporate Management Group in Hong Kong for five years and subsequently a group Company Director in 1995 he established The Exemplar Group that has grown to have a significant involvement in business consultancy and in IT, particularly the development and implementation of software solutions for corporate administration.

Because of his training and experience, Peter has taken a particular interest in the development sale and support of statutory administration and electronic document storage products that are solutions or professional firms, MNC's and listed companies as well as consulting with them in the areas of administration and corporate governance.

Peter has successfully grown the client base so that it now includes the largest of the accounting and law practices, public companies, banks, Government Linked Corporations and Multinationals. The Exemplar Group now operates throughout the Asia/Pacific region and Peter is based in Singapore.

Mr Roger Nikolaenko, of Black Ridge said “ We are disappointed to be losing a person of Malcolm’s experience and reputation from the Board.”

“However we are very pleased that Peter has chosen to join us as our new Chairman. We look forward to his extensive capabilities and experience to progress Black Ridge in the future.”
