APPOINTMENT OF CHAIRMAN

Black Ridge Mining NL wishes to announce that Mr Alan Winduss has been appointed as Nonexecutive Chairman of the Company effective today, Thursday, 31[st] March 2011. Mr Winduss joined the Board as a Non-executive director on 4[th] February 2011.

This appointment forms part of the restructuring of the Company to allow it to proceed with strategic expansion of current activities and the evaluation and acquisition of future projects where appropriate.

This, the Company believes, will enhance future shareholder value.
