Genesis Biomedical Limited Company Update

The Company is pleased to provide the following brief update in relation to its activities:

Research and Development Grant

The Company is pleased to announce that it has recently received $214,000 from a successful Research and Development grant application.

CellGen Evaluation

Further to previous market announcements, the Company is pleased to announce that an evaluation of its CellGen treatment has commenced at the Pemex Hospital in Mexico City, at no cost to the Company.

The CellGen therapy will be evaluated for:

  • The stimulation of bone growth and the healing of various fractures: and
  • The treatment for osteoarthritis of the knee under a three month therapy program.

The Pemex Hospital in Mexico City is a major orthopedic centre providing specialist orthopedic services to the other Pemex hospitals throughout Mexico.

The results of the evaluation will be presented to the Company by March 2004.

Investigation of New Opportunities

Further to previous market announcements, the Company continues to search for new business and investment opportunities. The Company will keep the market informed of any developments in relation to these activities.

Change to Board of Directors and Appointment of Company Secretary

The Company is pleased to advise that Mr Adam Davey has been appointed to the board of directors. In addition Mr Shane Hartwig has been appointed joint Company Secretary of the Company.

Both Mr Davey and Mr Hartwig bring further financial analysis and capital raising ability to the board of Genesis at a time where the Company is investigating new opportunities.
