Rights Issue closes with strong support

Superior Resources Limited (ASX : SPQ) advises that the 3 for 2 renounceable rights issue (“Rights Issue”) announced on 5 September 2013 at 1.2 cents per share, closed on 1 October 2013 with strong support from shareholders. The board advises that, applications for 44,681,718 shares were accepted and a further 49,156,700 shares have been applied for from the shortfall, for a total subscription of 93,838,418 shares (or $1,126,061) as at the date of this notice.

The maximum number of shares that could have been subscribed for under the Rights Issue was 124,658,932 shares ($1,495,907). Accordingly, the remaining shortfall is 30,820,514 shares ($369,846) and the Company reserves the right to place these securities within three months as described in the prospectus.

Superior Resources would like to thank its shareholders for the strong support it received under the Rights Issue despite the very difficult market conditions experienced during the offer and believes the strong level of support reflects the quality of the Company’s assets and the Board and Management.
